Carbon Forum Asia 2012

Jointly organized by the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA) and Koelnmesse, Carbon Forum Asia is Asia Pacific’s premier Trade Fair and Conference for Climate and Carbon Finance, Emissions Trading and Low Carbon Technologies. It offers the Asia and global carbon, energy and financial community a unique opportunity to network, develop new business opportunities and stay updated on the most current issues and trends.

Carbon Forum Asia 2012

The Conference

The Carbon Forum Asia 2012 will begin with an Opening Ceremony and Keynote Address on the 30th October. The conference is divided into 3 streams, 5 plenaries, and a couple of training sessions for delegates to delve more deeply into their key areas of interest. All sessions are presented in panel discussions which provides for more dynamic information exchange ensuring delegates’ most pressing issues and concerns are addressed within the selected topic.

 
The side events program comprising of 15 sessions are organized concurrently to the conference sessions. They feature updates on the latest solutions, technologies and new programs as well as case study presentations and discussions in an interactive framework.
The Trade Fair

 

The Trade Fair is where things come to life and is a great platform for networking with power producers, policymakers, brokers and traders, climate change experts, business owners and enthusiastic energy professionals.
All morning, afternoon refreshments and lunch will be held in the same area.
 
In 2011, Country Pavilions were hosted by the Asian Development Bank, State Goverment of Victoria Australia, Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore, China CDM Fund and the World Bank East Asia and Pacific Region.
In total, 88 exhibiting companies represented 29 countries, 86% of which were from the international coummunity.
 
 
The two-day Trade Fair includes a side event program. The program comprises of 15 sessions and is organized concurrently to the conference sessions. They feature updates on the latest solutions, technologies and new programs as well as case study presentations and discussions in an interactive framework. The side event sessions are open to all participants.
