Ecosystem Marketplace (EM) publishes our annual State of the Voluntary Carbon Market (SOVCM) report–a series now approaching the two-decade mark–to provide a comprehensive overview of the global supply and demand of voluntary carbon credits.

We interview and collect annual disclosures from market participants representing the majority of project developers and credit resellers, and combine this with registry data from the largest carbon credit standards and certifications. While SOVCM reports are always retrospective, capturing the previous full year of market activity, we also take a forward-looking lens to understand the most important developments shaping the future of the voluntary carbon market (VCM).

Ecosystem Marketplace (EM) lanza nuestro reporte anual Estado del Mercado Voluntario de Carbono (SOVCM), una publicación que ahora se acerca a las dos décadas de brindar una descripción general completa de la oferta y demanda global de créditos de carbono voluntarios.

Entrevistamos y recopilamos declaraciones anuales de los participantes del mercado que representan a la mayoría de los desarrolladores de proyectos y revendedores de créditos, y combinamos esto con datos de registro de los estándares y certificadores de créditos de carbono más importantes.
