Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) are the bases for establishing water quality trading programs in watersheds in the US. This site gives the final documents for TMDLs in the State of Oregon giving numerous examples of types of TMDL analyses for different types of water quality pollutant parameters and designated beneficial uses of water bodies.
