The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality Wetland Mitigation Banking Program was established to reduce the time and cost of creating mitigation banks. This short document gives the basic steps and bullet point of critical issues for creating a bank. It includes a fourteen step process, pre-proposal elements to address and important issues to address in the proposal.
