Carbon Project Coordinator – Triple Quest

Summary:

The Carbon Project Coordinator will assist with the management of filter projects that utilize carbon credits. The Carbon Project Coordinator will coordinate the ongoing maintenance of several projects to ensure timely implementation of filters, assist with development of new projects and provide excellent customer relations with potential partners. Serves as the primary contact for customer service inquiries via phone and e-mail. Provides professional sales support to Triple Quest team.
 
Responsibilities:  
  • Maintain strong relationships with carbon partners to ensure projects are successful (50%)
  • Coordinate ongoing communication with carbon partners (NGOs or entrepreneurs) to ensure projects proceed according to the agreed-upon timeframe
  • Provide ongoing assessments of risks and opportunities for carbon projects based on established tracking criteria
  • Identify and connect partners to supportive materials, strategies or institutions that will help make projects and sales more successful
  • Assist in the development of partner materials including communications, reporting and process development documents (15%)
  • Support logistics for all projects utilizing existing private and public methods and help develop low-cost logistics options for nonprofit partners (10%)
  • Assist in the recruitment and vetting of new NGO or entrepreneurial partners to develop additional carbon projects or sales (5%)
  • First point of contact for customer service (20%)
  • Responds to incoming customer and distributor requests/calls
  • Provides product pricing and shipping quotes to customers
  • Provides order tracking to customers
  • Utilize salesforce to keep projects and sales files up to date

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects and develop partnerships
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external colleagues
  • Strong customer relations skills
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong understanding of international NGOs and social enterprise models
  • Proactive, self-starter
  • Ability to manage some decision-making under limited supervision
  • Preferred Education, Experience and Core Competency Requirements:  
  • 2-3 years work experience with international NGOs or social enterprises
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Experience with carbon offsets or WASH projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Publisher and/or In Design for high quality reports or marketing materials
