The Code of Conduct for Biological Prospecting "establishes a set of principles, norms, and guidelines concerning biological and ethnobiological prospecting for projects that are partially or totally supported by FUNBIO. They ensure the rights and outline the obligations among parties, in accordance with principles and commitments of the Convention on Biological Diversity, and in compliance with domestic legislation."
