Background

Ecosystem Marketplace is a unique 'one-stop shop' for information and analytics of markets and payments that provide revenue for ecosystem conservation and restoration. At the core of our work is the Ecosystem Marketplace website, a free service that informs and connects companies, policy makers, researchers, community groups and individual landowners interested in understanding and participating in these emerging markets.

The Ecosystem Marketplace website is organized into four sections:

• News & Reporting: Daily news, e-newsletters, a discussion forum, and original articles (features, analysis, editorials, profiles)
• Publication & Tools: Reports, books, booklets, directory & events calendar
• MarketWatch: Market statistics & analysis
• Research Library: Resources on carbon, water, biodiversity, and other ecosystem markets & PES

Site visitors can subscribe to the Ecosystem Marketplace's free newsletters, which offer the latest news in the ecosystem service markets. In addition to the general Marketplace E-newsletter, we have a series of targeted newsletters for audiences interested in: mitigation banking; voluntary carbon markets; water-quality trading; and developing country issues.

 

Terms and Rates

All site-advertising is in the form of 'small tiles' that allow a company, report, or event name and logo to be displayed along with a tagline. Tiles link to a website of the advertiser's choice.

• V-Carbon News tile ad:   $500/month or $3,000/year

• Community Newsletter tile:  $300/month or $3,000/year
• Ecosystem Marketplace website tile & one E-Newsletter: $500/month or $5,000/year
