This tool from the Edinburgh Cenre for Carbon Management and UNEP helps business assess the quality of their systems for Carbon Management; that is, their ability to respond effectively and efficiently to the risks and opportunities that climate change presents. This tool is for companies with an interest in maintaining or strengthening their environmental reputation and/or those whose business that may be affected by policies intended to address climate change. CAMSAT comprises 23 multiple-choice questions in 5 sections, covering the major aspects of carbon management (Assessment and Monitoring of GHG Emissions; Emission Reducing Activities; Carbon Offset Strategies; Communication and Reporting; and Assessment of Carbon Risks and Opportunities). The results of the test will give company's an overall score and identify areas that may require further attention. The exercise takes about 30 minutes to complete.
