The Center for Conservation Finance works with WWF staff around the world to raise money to conserve endangered species and Global 200 ecoregions, and mitigate global environmental threats. With significant investment and business management expertise, the Center consolidates gains made through traditional tools like debt swaps and trust funds while working to build conservation-finance models that can be replicated around the world. These models are designed to channel money into conservation based on sound legal and financial policies and management structures. In addition to leveraging funding through debt swaps and trust funds, WWF also works to encourage conservation finance through market transformation initiatives.
