Environmental Incentives seeks qualified candidates for a Senior Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialist for an anticipated USAID project based in South Africa. This project will coordinate and support the implementation and management of five landscape-based activities awarded by USAID/Southern Africa to partner organizations to combat wildlife crime.
The Senior Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (ME&L) Specialist will serve as the crosscutting lead for the ME&L and Collaboration, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) functions of the project. These will include development and implementation of the project’s Performance, Monitoring, and Evaluation Plan (PMEP), learning agenda, and knowledge management processes. In addition, s/he will be responsible for contributing to the overall technical and administrative management of the project under the direction of the Chief of Party, including strategic planning, timely preparation of deliverables, and effective coordination and engagement with all activity stakeholders. The Senior ME&L Specialist will ensure that USAID best practices in adaptive management and implementation of the Program Cycle are advanced.
The position is full-time, based in Pretoria, South Africa. Local nationals are encouraged to apply. This 5-year contract position is contingent upon receipt of a USAID award.
