It assists and advises project owners, developers and carbon credit buyers along the whole CDM projects cycle, from initial assessment up to the delivery of emission reduction certificates. Position Title: TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Duty Station: Hong Kong (with alternative location options)
Employment type: Full-time

JOB PURPOSE
As a result of Enecore’s growth, a new senior management role has emerged within the organization, for a Technical Director, to ensure the company’s project development and carbon service activities are performed with the highest level of quality and diligence. The Technical Director will assist Project Managers on specific projects or act as technical reviewer of project documentation, ensuring that PDDs and other documents and deliverables are of a high quality. He / she will also be responsible for training, competency assessments and approval to perform critical activities such as the preparation of PDD’s, CER forecasting reports and due diligences. The Technical Director will ensure organizational effectiveness by providing management and leadership for Enecore’s project management and technical teams. He / she will be responsible for the development of a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS), covering the activities of the Carbon Services unit, from initial pre-screening of projects through registration to issuance of emission reductions.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS AND KEY COMPETENCIES
-Degree in engineering, environmental sciences or equivalent scientific disciplines;
-Intimate familiarity with the CDM process, including having been the lead developer/reviewer/auditor of CDM projects across all major regulatory steps (LoA, Validation, Registration, Issuance);
-Experience as DOE auditor and/or renewable energy/energy efficiency project manager is considered an asset;
-Track record in designing and implementation of CDM tools and practices;
-Strong network and established profile in the carbon market;
-Strong management and leadership skills,;
-Excellent risk assessment and project review skills;
-Capacity to tackle a constantly changing and challenging agenda, to work independently and under pressure;
-Excellent communication & team management skills with an ability to assist with the operational activities of the Group with a strategic perspective.

Position Title: SENIOR COMMERCIAL MANAGER – CARBON SERVICES

JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Commercial Manager’s primary responsibility will be to manage client relationships and generate revenue through the sale of Enecore’s products and services to financial and industrial customers. He / she will be responsible for the management of certain existing client relationships, the identification of new target customers, and the development of new products and services to meet market demand.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS AND KEY COMPETENCIES
-Master degree or equivalent;
-Strong sales personality, with superior knowledge of sales techniques and the ability to identify new opportunities and bring them to successful closure;
-At least 3 years experience in business to business sales;
-Very strong knowledge of Kyoto protocol flexible mechanism, the EU-ETS and the carbon market including underlying policy framework and current negotiations;
-Existing personal network in the carbon market, and strong sense of who does what, and why, in the market;
-Self motivated, self manager, with excellent communication & team work skills;
-Sound judgment, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills;
-Persistence in achieving goals and ability to work effectively under pressure with a constantly changing and
challenging agenda;
-Fully conversant with Microsoft Office Packages and relevant sales management packages; and
-Excellent working knowledge of English.

JOB PURPOSE
The Finance and Operations Manager’s primary responsibility will be to ensure organizational effectiveness by providing management and leadership for Enecore’s financial and operational functions. He / she will be responsible for the maintenance of a strict financial control environment and the delivery of all operational and strategic financial reporting, whilst also working with the Management Team to contribute to the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practices.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS AND KEY COMPETENCIES
-CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualified or equivalent
-Experience in the carbon/energy markets preferred
-At least 8 years experience in a relevant financial / operational role
-Capacity to tackle a constantly changing and challenging agenda
-Self motivated, self manager – experience of working with start-ups would be advantageous
-Experience with (successfully) taking growth business through fund raising
-Excellent communication & team integration skills with an ability to assist with the operational activities of the Group with a strategic perspective
-Fully conversant with Microsoft Office Packages and relevant accounting / financial management packages
-Excellent working knowledge of English
