BioCarbon Partnership Coordinator, Environmental Markets – Fauna & Flora International

Summary

Due to our expanding programme of work, FFI is seeking an individual to support our developing programme under the BioCarbon partnership.   You will work within the Environmental Markets team to support the BioCarbon partnership in administration; lead the design and implementation of biodiversity monitoring programs in a range of REDD projects globally; and identify and develop new REDD project opportunities. You will also play an important role in communicating the BioCarbon partnership internally and building internal capacity to develop projects through the BioCarbon partnership.

Requirements

With a relevant advanced degree or equivalent level qualification in conservation biology, environmental science, environmental economics or business management, you will have a minimum of four years’ working experience in the environmental field involving ecosystem services.   Practical experience in undertaking biodiversity assessments and developing REDD projects is essential, as well as experience managing complex field projects, which enable partners and stakeholders to achieve conservation and community objectives.

You will be an effective communicator, experienced in collaborating effectively with partner organisations at all levels and working in a multi-cultural and geographically dispersed team.   A strong team player, you will enjoy working in a dynamic team environment where strategic approaches and conceptual thinking are being brought to deliver innovative projects that benefit conservation and communities.
